Game of Thrones
Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) appears in the latest Three-Eyed Raven promo videos for "Game of Thrones" Season 5. HBO

The Three-Eyed Raven has spoken for the last time -- well, the last time until the premiere of “Game of Thrones” Season 5 at least. The Twitter-based marketing campaign sent fans the last visions. The short promo clips were pretty telling about what fans can look forward to when the show returns.

While the previous “visions” sent out by the Three-Eyed Raven offered only quick, abstract, largely out of context snippets from Season 5, Thursday’s clips featured more long form scenes.

One of the scenes shows Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) speaking to Mance Rayder (Ciarán Hinds) at Castle Black. Snow seems to be trying to convince the “King North of the Wall” to make some sort of concession – possible to Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane). Snow recounts how Mance united all of the clans in the north, not for power, but for survival. He then accuses the Wildling leader of acting based on pride in the present. Mance’s reply can not be printed here.

Another clip shows a rather depressed Brienne Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) talking about how she does not want to be a leader.

“I don’t want anyone following me,” Brienne tells Podrick (Daniel Portman).

The conversation begs the question – who is looking to Brienne to be a leader? When fans last saw the character she had just beaten Sandor Clegane (Rory McCann) to the edge of death.

What are Jon Snow and Mance Rayder debating? Plus, what has Brienne so down? Fans will have to wait to find out. “Game of Thrones” Season 5 premieres on HBO on April 12.
