Although the year is almost over, the music industry can’t seem to help but crank out new tunes. Following Chris Brown’s Twitter announcement of his upcoming song “Party,” featuring Gucci Mane and Usher, the rapper announced that he will be releasing an entire album.

Gucci Mane teased fans on Twitter Thursday by posting about his upcoming music. “One thing about #TheReturnofEastAtlantaSanta dropping in less than 24hrs!!!!!” he tweeted. Gucci Mane will be premiering his new music Thursday at 10 p.m. EST on DJ Khaled’s “We The Best” radio station on Apple Music.

Although he has posted several promos photos across his social media accounts about “The Return of East Atlanta Santa” album, the rapper has yet to acknowledge his upcoming song with Brown and Usher, which will be released on Friday.

Brown first announced the song “Party” on Twitter Tuesday, although he did not give a specific time for the song’s premiere. Since the announcement, Gucci Mane has not tweeted about the record nor has he made any mentions of it on Instagram whereas Usher has retweeted several of Brown’s posts supporting the song.

Although some fans of Brown may not be happy with the rapper’s lack of promotion for the upcoming song, The Wall Street Journal has hailed Gucci Mane as a motivation figure after turning his life around following his release from prison. The artist, who is now sober, managed to maintain his fan base and attract an even bigger audience despite being in and out of jail over the years.

“He came out bigger than he went in because of the loyalty to him and because the style of music that he had pioneered exploded,” said Todd Moscowitz, the rapper’s consultant.
