Although the first film of the Harry Potter series was released almost one decade ago, best-selling author J.K. Rowling announced early Thursday her plans to keep Harry Potter alive on the internet with Pottermore.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, the eighth and finale film of the franchise, will be released nationwide in theaters July 15, 2011.
