  • Ben Affleck reportedly signed a deal with Dunkin' Donuts worth over $10 million
  • Affleck filmed, wrote and starred in the Dunkin Donuts Super Bowl ad
  • Jennifer Lopez, who made a brief cameo, was reportedly paid $1 million

Ben Affleck reportedly earned millions of dollars from his 30-second Dunkin' Donuts ad, which aired during the Super Bowl LVII broadcast over the weekend.

The 50-year-old "Argo" director signed a deal with the coffee and doughnut company worth "over $10 million," an unnamed source told Entertainment Tonight.

Aside from the paycheck, Affleck's partnership with Dunkin' Donuts also included a donation to his non-profit, the Eastern Congo Initiative, "an advocacy and grant-making initiative wholly focused on working with and for the people of eastern Congo," according to the organization's website. It was unclear how much the company donated.

The "Justice League" star's wife, Jennifer Lopez, also surprised viewers with a brief cameo on Sunday's Dunkin' Super Bowl spot. The source told the outlet that the singer's "involvement in the commercial was a total surprise."

"When she showed up to set, Ben told her to go through the drive-thru and film something," the source added. "Dunkin' loved the interaction and added it to the ad."

But the 53-year-old "Marry Me" star did not go unpaid for her cameo. According to the source, Lopez received "just over a $1 million dollar paycheck."

Earlier this year, Affleck was spotted manning a Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru in full uniform, including a Dunkin' employee T-shirt and a black visor. He surprised several customers at the store in Medford, Massachusetts.

At the time, it had yet to be confirmed whether or not the commercial was filmed for the Super Bowl. But it was reported that in addition to appearing in it, the actor also served as the scriptwriter and director for the ad.

"Ben is heavily involved in the commercial as he pitched the script, is directing and starring in it," an unnamed source told ET last month. "Ben has loved Dunkin' for years, and this partnership couldn't be more perfect. He's been very hands-on with the whole process and is excited for everyone to see."

Aside from the Super Bowl ad, Affleck is expected to film another commercial in the future as part of his multimillion-dollar deal with the popular chain.

Affleck's love for Dunkin' Donuts is nothing new. He has been vocal about his preference for the brand and has been photographed carrying Dunkin's signature iced coffee many times over the years.

Photos of the fast food chain delivering to his home during the pandemic also went viral on social media.

Over four years ago, the actor gushed over the popular food chain after finding out that it was opening a branch in Los Angeles, California, where he currently resides.

"I have Dunkin' Donuts every day," Affleck told Collider in 2019. "It's very weird, I have it every day and people are always like, 'Where is that? Is that near here?' So, I feel like I'm spreading the word."
