A 19-year-old woman was heroically saved by two good Samaritans who happened to pass by as her car was sinking in a retention pond in Indiana.

Brandon Brown was driving a dump truck in Bargersville when he noticed the woman losing control of her car and driving into the retention pond Monday. The woman lost consciousness and drove at least 30 feet around the roundabout before the car derailed and wound up in the drainage pond, Daily Journal reported.

"I was headed west on Whiteland Road and I [saw] a car go into a pond," Brown said. "A couple of cars in front of me just went about their business. Before my brain could register what was going on I put my truck in park and was calling 911 and I was headed over to help."

The man immediately made his way through the water, which was roughly three feet deep. "When you see a car go into a pond that's not normal. I wasn't going to just see that and not do anything," the truck driver added. "My instinct was to not let the car sink and get whoever that person is out."

The woman was still drifting in and out of consciousness when Brown tapped on her car's window. Another man, William "Billy" Clements, also stopped by the scene and joined Brown in rescuing the woman, ABC affiliated WRTV reported.

"I was trying to get her to calm down ... let's get your seatbelt off. She's scared to death, she's telling me she can't get out ... I said 'I've got you, I've got you,'" said Clements, who was making a delivery when he saw the car in the water.

Both Brown and Clements pulled the woman out through the car's window and brought her to the bank. Some other passersby also stopped to help the duo. The woman was rushed to a hospital. Her identity was not revealed.

Jeremy Roll, a spokesperson for the Bargersville Police Department, said the woman suffered a medical emergency while traveling on the road before the incident took place.

While Brown said it was a "blessing" for him to be in the right place at the right time, Clements said he wanted to do everything possible to make sure the young woman was saved.

"I'm getting this girl out of the car. That's what was going through my mind. I am getting this kid out of the car. That's what I did," he said. "She is somebody's daughter... when you have kids and a bunch of girls like I do... I was just happy I was able to help her."
