The cast of “Hit The Floor” are hitting the ground running as they begin work on Season 4 of the dance drama.

Originally airing on VH1 for three seasons beginning in 2013, “Hit The Floor” was in limbo for months after airing its Season 3 summer special, “Til Death Do Us Part,” in September 2016 before getting renewed for a fourth season in April of this year. With a twist.

The show is moving to a different network within the Viacom family and will air new episodes on VH1 sister network, BET. What other new changes will fans notice when the exciting and unique drama focusing on the competitive world of NBA dance teams returns?

Creator and executive producer of the series, James LaRosa, took to Instagram on Monday to answer just that. He posted multiple announcements to the social media site explaining what fans can expect to see when the series comes back into their lives on BET in 2018.

Let’s break it down.

1. Teyana Taylor has joined the cast in a new role, along with other new actors who have yet to be announced.

LaRosa posted to Instagram on Monday to announce that Taylor would be joining the series for Season 4.

After the news was announced, some of the show’s returning cast members took to social media to welcome Taylor to the show.

“A big welcome to @TEYANATAYLOR #HitTheFloor,” Brent Antonello, who plays Jude, tweeted.

While Kimberly Elise, who plays Sloane Hayes, tweeted: “I’m sooo super excited to have @teyanataylor as part of our #HitTheFloor family on @BET! Welcome Teyana!”

Along with his Taylor announcement, LaRosa also mentioned in another post a little while later that there would be “some brand new series regulars who'll rock your unmentionables off,” which means fans can expect even more new faces when the series returns.

2. Along with some new faces this season, many of the original stars will be returning for the new season.

“I am through-the-roof excited for S4,” the show’s creator wrote. “The returning cast is a dream team, with some infamous OG cast still to be announced.”

3. While some original cast members are back, not all of them are, including lead actress Taylour Paige, who played Ahsha Hayes.

“For those asking, unfortunately yes, Taylour Paige and Adam Senn will not be a part of #HitTheFloor for S4,” LaRosa revealed. “No one loves Dersha and Zude more than I do so trust me when I say I feel your pain.”

4. While Paige and Senn will not be returning for Season 4 of the dance series, their roles will not be recast.

“I care too much about these relationships to recast,” he wrote. “I also respect the contributions of Taylour and Adam too much to see anyone else in the roles.”

5. Big things are in store Derek and Jude, the other halves of those couples – Dersha and Zude.

“Derek and Jude are in my protective care,” he assured. “S4 will be huge turning points for them.”

6. Paige might be gone from the Devil Girls, but those women always come out on top.

“The Devil Girls will not be without big-time star power,” LaRosa wrote of the Devil Girls without Ahsha.

7. Though Senn, who played Zero on the series, will not be coming back, which might just mean the end of his relationship with Jude (Antonello, who is returning), there will still be more LGBT plotlines to come.

“I care too much about LGBT storylines for them not to continue to be a big part of the show. That’s just who we are,” he wrote.

8. There’s no better way to explain what we’ll see in Season 4 then to essentially say it’s unexplainable.

“You ain’t seen nuthin’ yet,” LaRosa finished off his Season 4 breakdown.

Besides LaRosa’s post about what’s to come on the next season of “Hit The Floor,” former star of the series, Paige, hit up Twitter to give her love to all of the fans who watched her on the show for three seasons and to give her love to LaRosa.

“To my beautiful ‘Hit The Floor’ family. Those who have been with me along this wild journey. All of your tweets and comments have me in tears. I love you guys so much,” she tweeted on Monday. “You changed and rocked my world. We are all evolving and I’m so excited for this next party of the journey. I have endless gratitude to our Prince James [LaRosa] and my beautiful ‘HTF’ family. All of you who watched, supported, loved and allowed us to create is a gift that keeps on giving. I love you forever okay!”
