“Hocus Pocus” fans received a pretty sweet treat this Halloween when the cast of the beloved 1993 film reunited for a magical get-together on the spooky holiday. Vinessa Shaw, who portrayed Allison in the witchy movie, shared the adorable image of the enchanted reunion with her “Hocus Pocus” cast mates on Instagram.

“For your hangover from candy or whatever…more #HocusPocus for you!!” the actress captioned the photo of herself posing with Omri Katz, who played Allison’s love interest Max, and Thora Birch, who took on the sweet and sassy role of Dani. “Yes, we hung out on #halloween,” Shaw continued, staying tight-lipped about whether the kids of “Hocus Pocus” attempted to bring the Sanderson sisters (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy) back from the dead once again during their Halloween excursion.

As exciting as the reunion was for fans, it wasn't exactly surprising considering Shaw dished during an interview with ABC that the cast of “Hocus Pocus” was extremely tight during the making of the iconic Halloween film. “Oh my gosh, we loved each other,” she said, noting that she and Katz had a particularly special bond. “Omri’s such a cool dude,” Shaw gushed. “We were good friends. He didn’t make me feel nervous at all. Anything that was tension-building, we’d just laugh."

Shaw’s get-together with her cast mates gives hope to “Hocus Pocus” lovers that perhaps a sequel of the Halloween film might be in the works after all! Fans have been crossing their fingers and broom sticks for a second film, based on the storyline of the soul-sucking Sanderson sisters, ever since Midler urged fans to petition for “Hocus Pocus 2.”

“I have canvassed the girls [Parker and Najimy] and they are willing to do [a sequel], but we have no say in it, so if you want a 'Hocus Pocus 2,' ask the Walt Disney Company,” she said to fans of the Halloween classic during a Reddit AMA in 2014.

The movie's producer, David Kirschner, also revealed that there's still a possibility of a "Hocus Pocus" remake -- that is, if the network agrees to it. He revealed to Yahoo! that while the idea for a sequel was turned down several years ago he's still waiting to hear from the network regarding a possible Disney Channel Original Movie.

While the sequel is pending, we urge fans to light a candle in hopes that "Hocus Pocus" is given a sequel -- just make sure it's not a black flame candle...
