Whether you are a professional sleeper who can catch Z’s anywhere, or you spend your nights tossing and turning, there is now an opportunity to apply for what many would consider a real dream job.

Sleep Standards is looking to pay someone $2,000 to spend five nights sleeping in various locations, including a luxury 5-star resort. The company, which reports information about sleep research and products, is hoping to learn the role environment plays in determining the quality of a person’s sleep.

“We are looking for one lucky candidate who will help us learn more about the influence of environmental factors on the quality of sleep. The chosen candidate will spend five nights sleeping in different environments set up by our team including one night in a luxury 5-star resort,” the website reveals.

Those interested in the job must complete the application, which requires a headshot, links to any social media pages, and a link to a 60-second introduction video of the individual explaining why they are the best candidate for the job.

The application deadline is March 31. The winner will be notified 14 business days after the deadline.

The all-expenses paid sleeping gig will require the chosen candidate to write an honest report about their quality of sleep they experience each night.

Since their environments will be different every night, the individual will be required to be mindful of how the different settings may have affected their quality of sleep.

In addition to the report, the individual will also be required to rate their sleeping environments on a scale from 1 to 10.

Last year, a survey done by 2,000 Americans found 51% of the participants rated 2020 as the worst year for sleep, Fox 5 NY reports. Meanwhile, 42% of participants revealed they couldn’t remember the last time they had a good night of sleep but hoped their quality of sleep would change for the better in the new year.
