Another “Sister Wives” wedding may be in the works, as Meri and Kody’s only daughter, Mariah, has announced her engagement to girlfriend Audrey Kriss.

The couple, who are based in Chicago, announced their news via People Magazine on Feb. 15, revealing that Mariah had been the one to pop the question as they attended the Women’s March in Washington D.C. on Jan. 16. The reality star told the magazine that she chose the march for her proposal because it held significant meaning for the couple since they had attended their first one together in 2017 shortly after they began dating.

“We had just started dating when we came for the first time two years ago and it was such a special time for us that I wanted to propose there,” the 23-year-old reality star said.

Brown and Kriss also stated that they plan to take their time when it comes to planning their wedding, but that they had told Brown’s extensive family, including her dad, Kody, Meri, and her other moms, Janelle, Christine and Robyn, and that they had all been happy for them.

“Our friends and family have all been excited for us! I actually think my dad almost cried! He really liked Audrey. All of our friends have been so sweet and offering to help and out families are obviously excited to share their input,” Brown said.

Both Meri and Robyn shared their excitement about the news on social media. While Meri tweeted that she was “a little excited,” Robyn shared a post on Instagram where she called the pair a “sweet couple.”

Brown came out to her family on their TLC reality show in 2017, and to this day, while they have all accepted who she is, they admit that there was some adjustment at first. In a recent appearance on Pickler and Ben, Meri admitted that she felt like a bad mother at first because she didn’t know her daughter was gay before she revealed the news, but that she has grown to love Mariah and Audrey as a couple.

“I felt like a bad mom because I had no idea...it was like a big surprise,” she said. “But she’s so happy, the relationship that she’s in with Audrey. They are so happy, and they’re so cute together, and I love them. They are so good together.”

Mariah’s eventual wedding isn’t the only one the Browns eventually have to look forward to. Their eldest son, Logan, whom Kody had with Janelle, has been engaged to his girlfriend, Michelle Petty, since 2017.

In addition, the family has already held weddings for three of their other children. Madison, Janelle’s daughter, married Caleb Brush in 2016, and the couple welcomed their first child, Axel, in 2017. They recently announced that they are also expecting their second child together. Meanwhile, Christine’s eldest daughters, Mykelti and Aspyn married their husbands, Tony Padron and Mitch Thompson, in 2016 and 2018 respectively. Aspyn’s wedding will play out on the show’s current season.

“Sister Wives” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
