KFC had teamed up with Lifetime to deliver its own holiday mini-movie – “A Recipe for Seduction,” which will air on the Lifetime channel on Sunday.

The 15-minute mini-movie (or jumbo-commercial) features Mario Lopez, who has also starred in other Lifetime features such as “FelizNaviDAD.” Lopez will take on the role of Colonel Harland Sanders in the film.

The movie is being billed as full of mystery, suspense, deception, “fowl” play, and, of course, full of love and fried chicken.

The storyline of “A Recipe for Seduction” follows a holiday love affair of a young heiress, who contends for the affections of a suitor that has been handpicked by her mother. But when a handsome young chef arrives with a secret fried chicken recipe and a dream, a series of new events unravel despite her mother’s devious plans.

The mini-movie will air at 12 p.m. EDT/PDT on Sunday.

For holiday movie lovers that miss “A Recipe for Seduction’s,” original air date, there’s no need to worry as Lifetime will run the flick throughout the holiday season on all its Lifetime apps, video-on-demand platforms, and at mylifetime.com/christmas-movies.

Of course, to make watching “A Recipe for Seduction” even more enticing, KFC has spiced up the experience by offering six free extra crispy chicken tenders for those that make a $20 order or more on Uber Eats with the restaurant. The offer is available from Sunday to Dec. 19 on the Uber Eats app or at UberEats.com.

“We're no stranger to heating things up for the holidays, just like our famous fried chicken-scented Firelog. But let's face it, we could all use a little distraction this holiday season, so why not fill some of your time at home with a suspenseful drama and the comfort of our world-famous fried chicken?” Andrea Zahumensky, KFC U.S. chief marketing officer, said in a statement.

“‘A Recipe for Seduction’ is a perfect excuse to curl up at home and escape to your own happily ever after,” she added.
