Jazz Jennings’ ex-boyfriend Ahmir Steward appears to be missing the reality star based on his latest social media post. He has also opened up about his struggles with anxiety and how it has hindered him from doing what he wants to do.

On Wednesday, Ahmir took to Instagram to share a picture of him and Jazz standing in front of a fountain. The snap was taken in New York months ago when they were still together, and this wasn’t the first time he uploaded a snap from their memorable date.

In his caption for his latest post, Ahmir disclosed how his anxiety has disabled him from posing how he truly feels and what he’s been dreaming of doing lately, like acting or working with the documentary TV series “Vice.”

“I want to do so many things but something is holding me back. I’m not satisfied with my life,” he wrote before adding, “I want help.”

Ahmir has been very open about his mental health struggles on social media. In March, he revealed that he was battling anxiety and depression days after the finale of “I Am Jazz” Season 5 aired.

It should be noted that before the finale, Jazz and Ahmir agreed to have a “no commitment” relationship because the trans teen felt like she’s still too young to commit and she wanted to grow and meet other people first.

When the fifth season of the TLC show ended, rumors were spreading that the two of them may have already broken up since the installment was actually filmed last year. They never addressed the rumors at the time.

In April, Ahmir finally broke his silence and indirectly confirmed in a Radar Online interview that he and Jazz may have already parted ways. He said that he is hoping to see his ex-girlfriend again after admitting that they are still communicating.

Earlier this month, Ahmir made a cryptic post about “anxiety and battling the thoughts in my head.” According to him, he was getting scared of himself because he’s starting to believe the he might just be what the TV show projected him to be.

Meanwhile, “I Am Jazz” has been renewed for another season. Jazz previously confirmed that she’s chosen to study in Harvard instead of Pomona, so fans of the series can expect to see her college life in the next installment. As for Ahmir, it’s not clear yet if he’s returning for Season 6.
