Jenelle Evans isn’t on board with filming new episodes of “Teen Mom 2.” MTV

Jenelle Evans threatened to leave “Teen Mom 2” earlier this week after MTV aired an episode which showed her and fiancé David Eason seemingly suffering from relationship issues and declining to address them. Now, a report has been released claiming the reality star is refusing to film new episodes of the docuseries.

While MTV has yet to announced a back half for Season 8 of the series, The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reports the network is planning to extend its stars’ contracts to add more episodes to the current installment. The site reports that Jenelle, however, is refusing to cooperate.

“Jenelle is aware that Season 8 has been extended but, ‘she doesn’t care. She’s refusing to film,’” one insider said.

Unfortunately for Jenelle, refusing to film could result in her losing out on a payday. The Ashley reports the girls may get an additional income for the extended season.

While Jenelle is reportedly in-the-know about the season extension, not every cast member -- which includes Kail Lowry, Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska and Briana DeJesus -- have been filled in about MTV’s plans. “Some of the cast members are already filming for Season 8B, even if they don’t know it yet,” a reported crew member said.

While it appears it will be awhile before viewers get a look at the back half of the season, fans of “Teen Mom 2” are well-aware of the drama that’s currently unfolding on screen.

Monday’s episode of the series showed Jenelle and David refusing to film after getting into an argument. A later scene showed the couple denying their previous days’ argument and David erupting at production for bringing it up. Their final installment of the episode included Jenelle and David posing for their engagement photos while Jenelle’s child cried for food off-camera.

Following the episode’s release, Jenelle deactivated her Twitter account and took to Instagram to rant about the show.

“Yes, me and David have our ups and downs but yesterday’s episode was uncalled for. Because David didn’t feel like explaining another argument or drama on camera they make it look as if David is hiding some weird [expletive] from the public as if he was hurting me in some way?! I have decided after this season I’m probably calling it quits for filming this show,” Jenelle posted.

The mother of three went on to state that she informed the showrunner she felt the series is “getting out of hand” and is “not healthy” for her family anymore.

“They treat all of us as if we are in a freak show and in cages. WE aren’t human beings to @mtv what-so-ever,” she continued. “Once they treat me with respect I’ll be back, if they don’t I’ll be happy with the life I’ve got. I told them this last night.”

Since her explosive post, Jenelle has gone on to use her Instagram page as a platform to promote various businesses.
