Did Jessica Simpson carry around a $14 million bundle for nine months?

Any pop culture neophyte can tell you that celebrity babies mean big bucks. From first photos to clothing lines, the business opportunities spawned by celebrity offspring are aplenty. However, $14 million is quite the chunk of change; but FOX News' Jo Piazza thinks Jessica Simpson could score just that after the birth of her daughter, Maxwell Drew Johnson.

Jessica Simpson gave birth to Maxwell on May 1. The 9 lb. 13 oz. baby was certainly long-awaited, as Simpson's pregnancy seemed to be never-ending. And, as Piazza said, now that Simpson is officially a mommy, she is about to get a financial boost to the tune of about $14 million, if she plays her cards right.

Piazza reported that Simpson could potentially take home $5 million a year if she extends her Jessica Simpson Collection, a fashion line that grosses between $750 million and $1 billion each year, to include baby products and maternity wear.

The 30-year-old has already mentioned developing a maternity line. In February, the Fashion Star mentor said that being pregnant inspired her.

The point of launching a maternity line, for me, is to do something different, Simpson explained to Us Weekly at the time. I'm not buying any maternity clothes. I'm wearing all clothes that come in bigger sizes. I really want to make a maternity line that's comfortable, but really stylish for people, because I believe that we all deserve to feel good and look good.

Piazza also mentioned the cash potential in endorsements and reality television. Now that Jessica Simpson is a mommy she and baby Maxwell Drew can maneuver this journey together. Tweets about baby products can garner as much as $5,000, as Simpson's social media clout is sturdy with 5 million followers. Reality TV - which Simpson dabbled in with Nick Lachey for MTV's Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica - could be profitable as well. A television show featuring Jessica, fiancé Eric Johnson and their new baby Maxwell could earn them as much as $5 million a year or more. If the Kardashians can ink a deal for $40 million, surely Simpson can too.

Jessica Simpson's pregnancy weight gain will also prove lucrative. In December, Entertainment Weekly reported that Simpson supposedly signed a $3 million deal with Weight Watchers. The blonde country crooner will join other celebrity moms Mariah Carey and Jessica Hudson as a spokesperson for the company. Since Simpson's weight gain and pregnancy diet have been popular topic of conversation, her weight loss will take center stage in the months after Maxwell Drew's birth.

I had a great pregnancy. Eating and not having to worry too much about it has been fun. Taking a break from working out has definitely been fun. But I'm ready for it to be over. I'm ready to have my body back! she told Hello! magazine in March.

Baby photos are another big-ticket item.

In April, The Daily canvassed the biz to find out which photographs are the most in-demand right now. Jessica Simpson's baby photos placed in at No. 2.

Ever since the October announcement of her pregnancy, Jessica Simpson has been the brunt of pregnancy jokes. Many poked fun at how seemingly endless the blonde bombshell's pregnancy had been. Jessica Simpson's baby just qualified for Medicare, Twitter user Jenny Johnson joked on April 21. But Simpson might be laughing all the way to the bank. Photos of her newborn baby girl could fetch her as much as $500,000.

She's been so big for so long - literally and figuratively, an agency head told The Daily. The paparazzi have camped out around the Simpson compound waiting for a glimpse, but the former pop star is wise to their tactics. She keeps having decoys coming out of her house, Morgan lamented to Flash.

From baby-maker to money-maker, Jessica Simpson's role as mommy could be her best business move yet.
