Today's books video pulls back the curtain a bit on J.K. Rowling's Pottermore press conference, where recording was restricted.

One journalist did not toe the line, however.

Bizarrely, journalists and camera crews were ushered in at 10, only to be told to switch off their phones and say nothing til 12. I'm afraid I disobeyed ... writes ruskin147, who uploaded a video to YouTube which shows how Rowling's additional material will be woven into the site. You can also see a journalist getting sorted into Gryffindor.

At the presser, Rowling professes her excitement about the day, saying, We've been working hard on this project for a couple of years now.

I think for me this is such a great way to give something back to the Harry Potter fans who made the books such an incredible success, she says.
