Johnny Depp has claimed that Amber Heard has a history of domestic abuse as the perpetrator and not the victim.

Depp and Heard’s legal battle following their split has been revisited following the leakage of an audio recording where the “Aquaman” star confessed to hitting her ex-husband. When they separated, Heard alleged that Depp was physically abusive, but her confession proved otherwise.

Based on the court documents obtained by Radar Online, Depp said that Heard had a history of alleged domestic abuse even before they got married. Heard reportedly beat her lesbian ex Tasya van Ree. Depp revealed this in a 40-page document lodged at the Circuit Court of Fairfax, Virginia: “Ms. Heard Was Not A Victim Of Domestic Violence: She Was A Perpetrator.”

“Long before Ms. Heard became a self-described ‘public figure representing domestic abuse’ based on her false domestic violence allegations against Mr. Depp, Ms. Heard was in an abusive relationship,” the court document read. “But Ms. Heard was not the victim in that relationship. She was the abuser.”

On Sept. 14, 2009, the police officers at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport witnessed how Heard physically assaulted van Ree. Heard reportedly grabbed and hit her then-partner by the arm and yanked the necklace off her neck.

Heard was arrested following the assault and was booked for “misdemeanor domestic violence.” A mug shot was taken and the “London Fields” star spent the night in jail. The following day, the Seattle-based prosecutor did not press charges against Heard because both she and her domestic abuse victim were residents of California and were only passing through the Washington State.

“Ms. Heard’s violent domestic abuse did not end when her relationship with Ms. van Ree ended,” Depp’s document continued.

“Ms. Heard committed multiple acts of domestic violence against Mr. Depp during their marriage. Ms. Heard’s physical abuse of Mr. Depp is documented by eyewitness accounts, photographs, and even Ms. Heard’s own admissions under oath.”

Contrary to Heard’s allegations, Depp’s exes Winona Ryder, Vanessa Paradis and Lori Anne Allison all did not experience any abuse from the actor. They described the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star as someone who is sensitive, loving and caring.

Perez Hilton also issued an apology to Depp for believing Heard’s claims. According to the American blogger, he was wrong not to consider the statement of the other women in Depp’s life.
