Who doesn’t know James Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke,” right? For the benefit of others who don’t, this is a recurring segment on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” which features famous musicians —yes, that includes Justin Bieber.

Earlier today, Bieber tweeted a video clip of Corden clarifying what happened during the “Carpool Karaoke” segment wherein the “Yummy” singer was the guest.

“Wait… you weren’t driving the car?” Bieber tweeted. “How could you James? I’m shocked.”

In the said video clip, tweeted by the official Twitter account of “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” the host finally clarified the allegations and controversies surrounding the behind the scenes of “Carpool Karaoke.”

Corden is a very well-talented, funny guy. He has a “comedian” reputation so when he said that he was recently a victim of the scandal in media, his audience laughed. In the video, Corden denied the allegations that he wasn’t the one driving the car during the “Carpool Karaoke.”

So the “Carpool Karaoke” goes something like this —famous music artists like Harry Styles, Adele, Celine Dione, Jennifer Lopez and many more travel with Corden in his car under the pretense that they’re helping him to go to work. On their way to Corden’s office, these celebrities will sing their song with Corden.

Fast-forward to the segment wherein Bieber was the guest star. Apparently, someone saw them and was able to get a video (uh huh! evidence) of the British host’s car being towed along by a rig.

Corden claimed that 95% of the time he was driving the car, the Evening Standard reported. Unless, according to Corden, they’re doing something they thought was not safe. Apparently, the show’s host admitted that 95% of the time, he is “endangering the lives of the world’s biggest popstars.”

In the video, the host elaborated that Bieber’s segment was a special case. They saw the need for the car to be towed because Corden kept getting lost in his eyes.

Corden, towards the end of the video, dropped the final blow. He said, after all this time, didn’t need these popstars to help him get to work. Additionally, he clarified that there were times that they had to do stuff for the sake of entertainment.

The host then began showing the list of his guest when the car was towed and the ones when he was actually driving —yes, that included Bieber’s first and second time guesting. So towing versus driving with Bieber as the guest would one out of three for. Not bad. *wink*
