Kate Middleton reportedly follows the Queen's tricks when it comes to standing out in the crowd.

According to Stephanie Pett, a journalist for People, the Duchess of Cambridge has been using Queen Elizabeth II's fashion trick to stand out in the crowd, which is wearing bright outfits. In the photos shared by the publication, the Queen and the Duchess can be seen wearing the same shades of colors.

Queen Elizabeth II and Middleton were photographed in bright fuchsia pink, turquoise green, powdered blue, purple, red, pink and yellow wardrobes and both nailed it. Middleton has noticeably learned how to dress to stand out in public.

Sophie, Countess of Wessex, spoke about this in the Smithsonian Channel documentary, "The Queen at 90." According to her, there's a reason why Her Majesty opts for bright-colored outfits.

"She needs to stand out for people to be able to say 'I saw the Queen,'" Sophie explained. "Don't forget that when she turns up somewhere, the crowds are two, three, four, 10, 15 deep, and someone wants to be able to say they saw a bit of the Queen's hat as she went past."

"The queen has always been aware that she needs to stand out from the crowd, and it is for this reason that millinery has always played an important role in her wardrobe," Caroline de Guitaut, the curator of the Royal Collection Trust, added.

Middleton's has made a noticeable change in her wardrobe following Prince Louis' delivery. Many have taken the Duchess of Cambridge's bolder outfits as a sign of an "edgier" Kate.

"After that long break, she has certainly come back with a bang," Kaitlin Menza, co-host of the Royally Obsessed podcast told Vanity Fair. "She seems like she's in a more take-charge position. I'm beginning to see the person who's going to be the queen emerging."

"I think this is where Kate gets to make her mark," Susan E. Kelley, editor of the What Kate Wore website added.

In related news, the Queen is reportedly very fond of Middleton compared to Markle. The Duchess of Cambridge has certain traits that the Duchess of Sussex lacks.

"She [Queen] likes her [Middleton] middle-class values," Ashley Pearson explained. "She likes that she's close to her family. Kate has never tried to garner extra attention for herself. There's nothing flashy or showy."
