Royal fans are in a flurry once again over the possibility that Kate Middleton could be pregnant with her fourth child, but some are cautioning those overzealous followers to take the reports with a grain of salt.

Hollywood Cheat Sheet cautions that, despite betting odds which indicate many feel the Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with another child, as well as photos which appear to hint that the Duchess has a small baby bump, it would be in everyone’s best interest if they didn’t immediately jump to conclusions over the Duchess’ current state. Though the photos could seem like damning evidence that Middleton is truly pregnant, there is equal evidence that suggests the opposite.

The website notes that not only does speculation follow Middleton everywhere she goes, but recent claims have surfaced that claim she not only started experiencing baby fever after the birth of her nephew, Archie Harrison but that she is also considering having a fourth child in order to escape her royal duties, which seems far-fetched.

However, another big reason that Middleton fans may need to be wary of report she is expecting is the fact that she has been attending all of her engagements, including sailing at the King’s Cup Regatta—all things she likely wouldn’t be doing if she was pregnant considering her history of hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness.

The illness was something Middleton suffered from during her first three pregnancies with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, which not only forced her to miss engagements in the past, but also announce her pregnancies earlier than 12 weeks. The condition is also something that a woman is likely to experience again if she suffered from it previously. As a result, if she was indeed pregnant, she would likely be missing out on appearances now.
