Kim Kardashian was the subject of Twitter speculation Tuesday after she posted a Snapchat of herself with what appeared to some to be cocaine in the background. On a table just behind where the photo was taken, residue and at least two lines of white powder can be seen. Kim Kardashian was quick to reply, writing that the residue was candy.

The image to which Kim Kardashian replied was tweeted by user Doireann under the handle Doirs19.

“Ohhhhhh @KimKardashian caught out with cocaine .. durtayyyyy,” they captioned the image, which had only garnered a couple hundred interactions by the time Kim Kardashian herself replied.

“I do not play with rumors like this so I'm gonna shut it down real quick,” she wrote on Twitter for her 54 million followers. “That's sugar from our candy mess from dylan's candy shop.”

The tweet perhaps points to Dylan's Candy Bar, a chain sweets shop with locations across New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, among others. The massive selection of candy at each of its locations made it a favorite of sweet-toothed patrons.

About 15 minutes after initially replying to the tweet, Kim Kardashian was already seemingly back to business as usual. She tweeted out another reply to a fan of her children’s clothing line the Kids Supply, writing, “Thanks!”

The 36-year-old reality star has never struggled with any form of public substance abuse, and both she and her sisters maintain that Kim Kardashian rarely even drinks alcohol.

Khloé Kardashian confirmed as much in an interview with Elle in 2016.

"Kimberly does not drink alcohol whatsoever," the 33-year-old youngest Kardashian sister told the magazine. "Pregnant or not, she's just never been into it."
