The so-called Mother Monster was not set to unveil her latest video for "You and I" until Thursday. However, Lady Gaga's video was leaked and is trending at over 25,000 views so far.

The busy video features many sides to Gaga. We see Yuri, her mermaid alter ego, Jo Calderone, her Italian persona, and an unnamed version of Gaga who plays piano in a cornfield."You must love all + every part of me, as must I, for this complex + incomprehensible force to be true," she tweeted.

Filmed in Nebraska, Lady Gaga unleashes several visual elements at the viewer. It is almost hard to follow exactly what is going on--not that you ever truly understand a Lady Gaga video... "It's more than a little overstuffed, but at this point, does anyone look to a Gaga video for restraint?" Rolling Stones said.

Gaga explained the concept of the video as her travelling from NYC to Nebraska to get her boyfriend back."I'm walking with no luggage, it's just me and my ankles are kind of bleeding a little bit and there's grass stuck in my shoes and I've got this outfit on - it's real New York sort of clothing as it's woolly...It's the idea that when you're away from somebody you love it's torture," Lady Gaga explained. "It's a very powerful and awful and strange feeling when you're away from the person you love."

While this explanation makes sense, the many oddities may throw one off. "Torture contraptions, mermaid sex, a wedding, bondage in a barn, an ice cream truck, and to top it all off, 'Children of the Corn' and religious overtones thrown in for good measure," Billboard recounts. The video was described as "the all-time weirdest representation of the state [of Nebraska]."

Strangeness aside, the reception of this video has been mostly positive so far. It features beautiful imagery in spite of it sexualized nature. The song itself was considered one of Gaga's best tracks on the "Born This Way" album. It features guitar by Queen legend, Brian May.

Lady Gaga was very excited to film and deliver this video!
