The Legends may suffer some more casualties in Season 2 finale of “Legends of Tomorrow.”

In a recent interview with TVLine, executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed that some characters won’t make it out alive at the end of the episode. “We will be losing some people,” Guggenheim said. “There are going to be some significant deaths.”

But since Guggenheim didn’t specify whether or not the casualties are from the side of the Legends, it’s also possible that it’s the Legion of Doom who will be losing some members.

However, in a separate interview with Comicbook.com, Guggenheim’s fellow executive producer Phil Klemmer revealed that there’s a particular death in the season finale that viewers won’t see coming — “similar” to Amaya’s (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) demise last episode.

“It’s always been a rule since the Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) death [in the pilot],” Klemmer said of “Legends of Tomorrow’s” no one is safe rule. “[CW’s DC TV Universe executive producer] Greg [Berlanti] said it before the show was even a show about how his mission was to make this not like network TV, that no one would be bulletproof, that it was more like the Ned Stark idea [from ‘Game of Thrones’] of anybody could lose their head at any time.”

Klemmer added that “Legends of Tomorrow” is committed to going full “Game of Thrones” in terms of character deaths in Season 3 to further establish the idea that anyone can die on the CW series.

“As we’ve been roughly breaking out next season, we’re more committed to that than ever,” Klemmer said. “Again, that’s a really bittersweet thing because we think the dynamic of the characters have is so special and wonderful, and at the same time, you don’t want the audience to become too comfortable on the show. It is supposed to be a wild ride. You need that real consequences and real bloodshed to counterbalance the fluffiness and the silliness of the show. Otherwise it would just float off into space.”

“Legends of Tomorrow” Season 2 finale, titled “Aruba,” airs on Tuesday, April 4 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
