Channing Tatum is one of the biggest Hollywood stars today, but not to his daughter, Everly.

On Thursday, the “Logan Lucky ” star talked about his adorable daughter and confessed that his baby is very difficult to please. “I’ve never worked so hard to like, make a girl like me and fail,” Tatum told Entertainment Today. “I was like, ‘Please, please, just please love me, please just love me!’”

Although Tatum’s daughter with wife Jenna Dewan Tatum is hard to impress, there are certain things that he can do to please her. Unfortunately for the celebrity dad, it entails hurting himself.

“She likes it when I fall down and hurt myself! She’s like, ‘Haha, do it again!’” the “Magic Mike” star said. “She’s my harshest critic, man, but it’s the best. It’s a really good humbling experience, I can promise you.”

Tatum is a doting dad to Everly. In fact, he penned an emotional letter for her. “My highest hope for her is just that she has the fearlessness to always be her authentic self, no matter what she thinks men want her to be,” Tatum wrote.

In his letter, Tatum made reference to his wife’s boldness and confidence. Dewan Tatum was the first to confess her feelings to him. The “American Virgin” star took the risk even if she had no idea how Tatum would react. It’s one of the things that he loved about her and wanted her daughter to do the same.

“And that’s what I want for my daughter — to be expectation-less with her love and not allow preconceived standards to affect her, to ask herself what she wants and feel empowered enough to act on it,” Tatum continued. “I want women to feel what it’s like to exist in a world where men really listen to them, where they treat them like goddesses, and where they can feel comfortable and proud to express the full force of their sexual energy together.”

In other news, Tatum admitted that he was starstruck when he met Halle Berry for the first. In fact, he forgot to introduce himself. Of all the things he could say to the “Kidnap” star, he just asked her if she knew she’s the most used name in rap songs.
