Man Attempts To Have Sex With 5- And 9-Year-Old, Gets Arrested: Police

A 32-year-old man in Montgomery County, New York was arrested this week after he tried to meet and rape underage girls, who were actually undercover sexual predator hunters.

Michael Clark, of Amsterdam, was arrested at the Woodrow Wilson Town Houses Wednesday, 10 ABC reported.

Police were responding to a report of a man that was in possession of child pornography and attempting to meet with underage girls when they saw Clark being surrounded by four people from the group called Predator Poachers, a report by NewsChannel 13 said.

The group members, which go online and pose as underage children to lure sexual predators, claimed they had been communicating with Clark for the past week and he was eager to meet with multiple underage girls.

"We said, 'Hey we were the ones the whole time' and he ended up having a knife on him," Predator Poachers member Alex Rosen said.

"I asked, 'Do you have any weapons on you?' and he pulled out a knife. Who knows what he was going to do with a knife? That's definitely troublesome that he wanted five kids and also brought a knife to go and meet them," he added.

Clark ended up dropping the knife and he was later taken into custody.

An interview revealed he had engaged with someone he believed was an 11-year-old girl, as per 10 ABC. Clark allegedly sent the girl photographs that were sexual in nature, as well as pornographic videos.

Additionally, police discovered that Clark also requested to meet up with the girl and wanted her to bring her 5-year-old and 9-year-old friends to have sex with him.

Clark has been charged with one count each of class B and class C felonies attempted rape in the first degree and two counts of attempted criminal sex act in the first degree, a class B felony. He was also charged with class E felony attempted disseminating indecent material to a minor.

Clark was remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $50,000 cash or $75,000 bail bond.

A similar incident happened in late April when a convicted pedophile in England was arrested after he attempted to meet and have sex with the non-existent 4-year-old daughter of an undercover police officer.
