A 34-year-old Florida man was arrested after bags of drugs were found "wrapped around his penis" during a search over the weekend, police documents showed.

Patrick Florence, of St. Petersburg, was a passenger of a vehicle that was stopped around 4 a.m. Saturday for traveling along Ulmerton Road and Roosevelt Boulevard in Clearwater, Florida, without headlights or tail lights on, the Smoking Gun reported, citing an arrest affidavit from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

The driver of the vehicle, 27-year-old Darius Owens, was arrested on driving under the influence and possession of marijuana charges, according to the outlet.

A search of the duo’s car led to the discovery of a .38 Special Rossi handgun under the front passenger seat.

Florence, who is barred from possessing firearms and ammunition following "dozens of felony convictions," denied ownership of the handgun. He previously stated he had more than 80 felonies, according to the affidavit.

Police searched Florence and found two plastic baggies "wrapped around his penis," cops said. One bag contained cocaine powder and cocaine base, while the other contained less than a gram of a crystal substance identified as methamphetamine.

When probed on the bags, Florence "stated the package wrapped around his penis was not his," police said.

Florence, who reportedly did not identify the owner of the drugs, was arrested and charged with four felonies--possession of cocaine, meth, ammunition and a firearm. He was booked into the Pinellas County jail in lieu of $24,000 bond.

A similar arrest was made on a 19-year-old Iowa man back in August after a "very large bag of marijuana" fell out of his shirt and he attempted to deny ownership of it.

Members of the Iowa City Police Department were responding to calls of a disturbance at an apartment on Aug. 21 when they encountered the man, identified as Kyle Clark, and another individual "face to face yelling at each other," officer Tyler Lakose said in a criminal complaint.

Clark attempted to walk away upon spotting the responding officers, who noticed he "had a very large bulge under his shirt near the waistline like he was trying to hide something." Clark then tried to walk down some stairs that led to a dead end after Lakose asked if the protrusion was "a bag of weed."

When officers handcuffed Clark, a "very large bag of marijuana" that had a total weight of 116 grams fell from his shirt, police said. Clark was charged with felony and misdemeanor drug counts and was released from Johnson County jail later that day.
