Jamie Lee Curtis was previously spotted near the sets of the “Star Wars” live action TV series, but there was no confirmation that she was a part of the cast. Now, a new rumor suggests that it is possible the actress is playing a role in the show.

Curtis is known for her role in hit movies like “Freaky Friday.” According to Making Star Wars, she was spotted on he sets of the “Mandalorian” TV series before, but it was assumed she was there for “Avatar 2,” which was also filming nearby. After she was spotted around the sets of the show on multiple occasions, the report pointed out that it looks like she may be a part of the series.

There is no official word yet about the cast members of “The Mandalorian” Season 2, and sources close to the production haven’t been able to verify whether or not Curtis is in the series. Readers have are advised to treat this information as a rumor at this time.

There will be a few new characters who will be introduced on the show this year. One of them is a bounty hunter played by Michael Biehn. Making Star Wars recently shared a concept art of the costume the new character will be seen in. The bounty hunter has a armor and a helmet, and he will carry a blaster rifle.

According to a previous report by Making Star Wars, Biehn’s lines on the show are inspired by his iconic roles in 80s action movies like “Terminator,” “Aliens,” “Tombstone,” and “Navy Seals.” The character apparently knows the protagonist Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal).

Filming of “The Mandalorian” Season 2 has been completed. The show is set to be released in October on Disney+.
