Married At First Sight Season 4 spoilers
‘Married At First Sight’ Season 4 couple Lillian Vilchez and Tom Wilson hit a rough patch on episode 8. FYI

Things started off so well for “Married At First Sight” Season 4 couple Lillian Vilchez and her husband Tom Wilson. Even though the pair met at the altar for FYI’s dating experiment show, they immediately hit it off, sparking a connection from the first time they laid eyes on each other.

During last Tuesday’s episode 7, fans watched as Lillian and Tom’s marriage started to crumble following a fight over when to have children. In a sneak peek of tonight’s episode 8, it appears the couple is still struggling to move on from that disagreement. Apparently, things are so tense between Tom and Lillian that she disappears for a little while.

“I woke up this morning to take out the dogs, and when I got back, Lilly was gone,” Tom says in the clip posted by Us Weekly. “Where’s Lillian? I don’t know where she’s at. I sent her a bunch of text messages; I called her a bunch of times.”

In the teaser, Tom admits that he and his wife had a “rocky past couple days” stemming from their argument. “But I thought we were in a good place,” he tells the camera. “So I don’t really know what’s going on.”

Eventually, Lillian does return home but makes a beeline to the bathroom, ignoring Tom. When he tells her they need to talk, Lillian says through tears: “Yes, we do. I totally agree with you.” Tom tells the camera that he’s worried “something serious” may be going on and would be “devastated” if their marriage was in trouble. “I’m going to try everything I can to make this happen, even if it’s difficult,” he says.

Lillian and Tom aren’t the only Season 4 pair to be having a difficult time with their new marriage. In last week’s episode, Heather Seidel and Derek Schwartz reunited after spending some time apart. Pastor Cal Roberson, one of the “Married At First Sight” experts, told Heather she would have to make a decision about whether she wanted to stay married for the remainder of the six week program or get a divorce. Her answer wasn’t revealed last week, so viewers will most likely find out on tonight’s episode 8 what she has decided to do.

“Married At First Sight” airs Tuesdays at 8:45 p.m. EDT on FYI.
