A huge snake was found slithering in the bathroom of an apartment in England, leaving the homeowner shocked.

The unidentified woman found the snake, an eight-foot-long boa constrictor, curling up between her bathtub and sink over the weekend and immediately called the police. When the officers were unable to contact the snake experts for help, they called their colleague who immediately arrived at the scene.

“Constable Chris Eastwood has knowledge of snakes and handling them and when he arrived confirmed it was a boa constrictor. He was able to calmly approach the reptile, which had wrapped itself around the bathroom sinks and taps, and after giving it a drink of water was able to coax it to unravel itself so that he could put it into a large, safe container,” a Merseyside Police spokeswoman said, adding that the responding officers were “flabbergasted.”

“The snake has been temporarily rehomed and is doing well - the rest is hiss-tory,” she said, adding that neither the homeowner nor the neighbors knew where the reptile came from.

Meanwhile, photos showed the snake slithering in the bathroom before wrapping itself around the fittings.
