If a player would have won the jackpot, the cash option would have been $21.8M.

There were no Match 5 winners in the Tuesday night drawing for the $1M prize. Players also were unable to match five numbers with the Megaplier, which would have increased their winnings to $3M.

Despite the lack of instant millionaires, there were plenty of smaller monetary prizes that resulted from the latest drawing.

Sixteen players won the Match 4 plus the Mega ball, winning $10,000 apiece. Meanwhile, only two players were able to hit the Match 4 plus the Mega Ball with the 3X Megaplier, pushing their prize to $30,000 apiece.

Other prizes that were won from the night ranged between $2 and $1,500.

The next lottery drawing will take place on Friday and will see the jackpot climb to $64M, with a cash option of $31M.

The latest lottery game comes after a player in Florida and another in California hit the Mega Millions jackpot for the Oct. 14 drawing. The players will split a $494M jackpot, with a cash value of $247.9M.

Mega Millions winners can receive their grand prize winnings through either a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity.

Those who select the annuity receive one immediate payment, followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
