Meghan Markle was accused of using diet pills to get back to her pre-baby body figure.

Scammers used the Duchess of Sussex in promoting their dangerous diet pills. According to Daily Star, online advertisements feature Markle’s photos and claim that she has used pills to get back in shape after delivering Archie.

One bogus ad for “Keto Weight Loss” tablets on YouTube used Markle’s before and after pregnancy photos. Meanwhile, another site called First Level Fitness, allegedly faked a quote and credited it to the Duchess of Sussex.

“Post-pregnancy my body had lost its shape. But, with keto body tone, I came back,” the fake quote read.

Another ad featured Markle posing with the Queen and describing the tablets her “passion project.” Markle used the phrase to refer to the launch of a charity cookbook for victims of the Grenfell disaster.

Another fake advertisement was set out to look like an article with a headline that read, “Meghan Markle in trouble for disobeying Queen Elizabeth’s orders.” It claimed that Markle is in hot water for seeking “outside help for her weight loss treatment Keto Pure.”

“All my life I’ve been passionate about taking care of my weight due to the pressures of Hollywood to stay young and look fit,” Markle allegedly said based on the ad.

“For the last 10 years I’ve been travelling the world and sourcing organic ingredients and weight loss remedies.”

The ad claimed that Mark’e has launched an all-female-owned weight loss line which was allegedly her “dream.”

Buckingham Palace is already making actions to remove the illegal advertisements using Markle to promote their weight loss tablets.

“This is obviously not true and an illegal use of the Duchess’ name for advertising purposes. We will follow our normal course of action,” a royal source said.

A thread on Quora discussed why Markle hasn’t lost her pregnancy weight as quickly as her sister-in-law Kate Middleton. Many believed that Markle is following the normal pattern. She just didn’t lose weight as fast as Middleton because the latter didn’t actually gain so much weight during her three pregnancies as she was sick and was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum.
