KEY POINTS

- Fans were quick to notice the logo used in the letter
- The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed the letter with a simple "Harry and Meghan"
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently expressed their gratitude, through a heartfelt letter, to workers of StreetGames who continue to help amid the coronavirus pandemic. But while the sweet message was there, one tiny detail in particular caught the attention of those who have seen it.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been busy extending help and expressing well wishes amid the coronavirus pandemic as they quarantine in their temporary Los Angeles home. Recently, Markle and Prince Harry sent a letter to charity StreetGames, which took to Twitter to thank the couple for their message, Express reported.
“We have been touched to witness from afar the coming together of the organisations we champion and so deeply care about. The compassion and leadership of young people across the StreetGames network is vital, and it is their kindness and selflessness that inspires others to do better,” the letter read.
While some fans were glad about the message, there were some who couldn’t help but ponder about the logo on the letter. Apparently, naysayers were wondering why Markle and Prince Harry still chose to use their H&M monogram with a crown above it even though they turned their backs on the royal family back in January.
“How nice of them to send this out using the symbol they have left behind. Must have leftover stationary,” @smartmonkeee sarcastically commented on the letter.
“Why there’s still royal 'logo'?? thought they’re banned to use it??”@Shobeh6 wrote.
Another user, @wcny228, noticed that the news came on Prince William’s birthday and told Markle to “just go away you are irrelevant!” However, another corrected the commenter and said that the letter was dated June 19. The Duke of Cambridge celebrated his 38th birthday on June 21.
Many others retweeted the letter and wondered whether or not Markle and Prince Harry are still allowed to use the insignia. Some, on the other hand, said they are still “acting” as if they were working royals.
However, some pointed out that the couple signed the letter without their royal titles and simply wrote “Harry and Meghan.”
