Meghan Markle’s love for animals has been questioned after her latest visit to an animal charity.

The Duchess of Sussex has four patronages that include Association of Commonwealth Universities, The National Theater, Smart Works and animal organization Mayhew. According to one netizen, Markle didn’t really spend so much time when she visited Mayhew to check on the animals’ welfare. In fact, she was very late and only stayed their for a few minutes.

“Hours late and spent less than 10 mins. This is how someone who is so ‘passionate’ about animals behaves. Making the RF irrelevant one charity at a time,” the user wrote on Twitter.

The netizen also questioned how much Markle spent on her “cringeworthy outfit. Another user also pointed out how Markle left behind her dogs all for the “name of fame.” The former “Suits” star has two dogs in Canada named Guy and Bogart.

Markle’s move to leave her dogs behind was considered by one user “a shame and heartbreaking.” The former actress was then accused of abandoning her pets. Another user thinks that Markle doesn’t want to pay for her dog’s airfare and quarantine that’s why she left them.

However, according to Vanity Fair, Markle didn’t abandon her dogs. She actually brought Guy, the beagle, when she moved to London. Guy was even photographed one time riding in a car with the Queen. On the other hand, the royal press secretary said that Bogart would be living with “very good friends,” for he was too old to fly to London.

Prior to Markle’s move to London for good, it was reported that she had to complete a number of requirements to be able to bring her pets with her. They needed to be microchipped, given a rabies vaccination, treated against tapeworm and Markle should have paperwork for all the vaccinations.

According to a source, Markle’s very close to her two dogs. She even bought them Union flag dog jumpers, and she also FaceTimed them when she’s away.

Back in October, Markle confirmed that she and Prince Harry got a new dog. They welcomed a Labrador Retriever puppy who traveled with them from their home in London at Kensington Palace to their country estate in Cotswolds last summer.
