Meghan Markle is turning into a nightmare, according to a journalist.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s tour to South Africa was deemed successful even before it ended. However, Prince Harry and Markle made a surprising move when they announced that they filed a lawsuit against Mail on Sunday for publishing the duchess’ private letters to her father.

Journalist Rod Liddle wrote that Prince Harry has “attacked the press for waging a campaign against his wife ‘with no thought to the consequences.’” He added that it is not just the tabloid media that is turning on Markle.

“She’s turning into a royal nightmare,” Liddle added.

He also argued that the “Princess of Woke” is “rubbing up the British the wrong way” and even requested, “Please America, take her back.”

Liddle pointed out that Markle’s skin color is the least objectionable thing about her. He insisted that none cares about Markle’s skin color.

“It’s the rest of the stuff we don’t like — although when we point this out we are invariably accused of racism,” he explained.

“No, what Meghan has done is drag with her, across the Atlantic, a garbage truck full of the most emetic US wokeness and deposited it on our front lawns. She has brought with her the infantile identity politics of Hollywood and US campuses, with all its non sequiturs, its bizarre obsessions, its mutual contradictions and its self-evident hypocrisies.”

Prince Harry and Markle were criticized for their obsession on privacy. Many also didn’t like it when they kept the duchess’ birthing plan a secret and their son Archie’s baptism private especially that they used the taxpayers’ money to fund their home, Frogmore Cottage, in Windsor.

Prince Harry brought his war against the press further by also suing The Sun and The Mirror over an alleged phone hacking. Many did not agree with Prince Harry’s statement comparing Markle and Princess Diana’s struggle from the press with Stephen Glover saying that he was wrong for seeing his mom as a “wholly innocent victim.”

Daniela Elser of News.com.au also said that Prince Harry misunderstood Princess Diana’s connection with the press. The late Princess of Wales understood the power of the press and even used them when she needed a voice to fight back the royals.
