Meghan Markle is likely to deliver her baby earlier than expected, according to some sources.

The palace hasn’t confirmed how far along the Duchess of Sussex is in her pregnancy. However, Markle announced earlier that she may give birth around late April.

According to journalists Rebecca Hyde and Angela Mollard in New Idea’s podcast “Royals,” however, Markle may give birth earlier, likely within the first weeks of the month. Mollard said that she did a lot of counting for the duration of Markle’s pregnancy after the duchess told Missy Higgins that she’s 16 weeks along and due in April.

“I have a theory with the royals that they tell you later dates than they think,” Mollard said. “If you say you’re due at the beginning of April, for instance, then you have everyone outside the Lindo wing of the hospital from the 25th of March.”

Mollard pointed out that Markle commented on the possibility that her baby could arrive early. The Duchess of Sussex said that while she is due at the end of April, the baby might be born a few weeks early.

“I think she’s further along than she’s saying she is, I really do,” Mollard added.

She’s also considering the possibility of Prince Harry and Markle welcoming twins due to Markle’s huge baby bump. The journalist added that it’s “quite big” so “multiple pregnancies” is possible.

Mumsnet users also recently shared their thoughts about Markle’s pregnancy. One user said that she’s definitely sure that Markle’s pregnancy is not fake. She also thinks that Markle is already over six months along, suggesting that the baby might arrive as early as March.

In related news, Markle was slammed by netizens after she was caught on camera flicking her coat to show off her baby bump. One netizen noticed how the duchess momentarily stopped clapping to touch her coat and expose her tummy while the camera flashed.

Others branded Markle as “attention-grabbing.” Another netizen said that the duchess is “overdoing” her pregnancy by using her baby bump as a prop.

Meanwhile, a different social media user shared snaps of Kate Middleton, Princess Diana and other royals touching their baby bump too on Twitter. But they insisted that it is only Markle who “gets a lot of unfair criticism” for doing the same gesture.
