Filmmaker Michael Moore believes Donald Trump will win the 2020 presidential election if voters don’t step up and take some action to inspire others to head out to the polls on election day.

On Friday, Moore took to his Facebook page to share an informative post about what could happen if people don’t voter for Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris.

“Are you ready for a Trump victory? Are you mentally prepared to be outsmarted by Trump again? Do you find comfort in your certainty that there is no way Trump can win? Are you content with the trust you’ve placed in the DNC [Democratic National Committee] to pull this off?” Moore wrote.

In an article dissecting Moore’s post, The Guardian noted that the filmmaker is one of the few political observers that correctly predicted Trump’s win in the 2016 presidential election against Hillary Clinton.

Although journalist Ben Norton tweeted that he believes Moore’s prediction for the upcoming election is correct, he claimed that encouraging people to vote for Biden wasn’t the solution.

“Michael Moore is right that Trump is going to win, but wrong that trying to convince people to vote for Cryptkeeper of Neoliberalism Biden is gonna stop it. The Democratic Party lost when it nominated right-wing zombie Biden. The DNC has nothing to offer,” he tweeted in reference to The Guardian article.

In his post, Moore went on to reflect on some of Clinton’s mistakes during the 2016 election including her decision to not speak in several swing states that Trump ultimately won. The documentary filmmaker claimed Biden is following in her footsteps and suggested he will most likely lose to Trump.

“The Biden campaign just announced he’ll be visiting a number of states – but not Michigan. Sound familiar? “I’m warning you almost 10 weeks in advance. The enthusiasm level for the 60 million in Trump’s base is OFF THE CHARTS! For Joe, not so much,” Moore noted.

“Don’t leave it to the Democrats to get rid of Trump. YOU have to get rid of Trump. WE have to wake up every day for the next 67 days and make sure each of us are going to get a hundred people out to vote. ACT NOW!”

It appears Trump agreed with Moore’s prediction. On Sunday, Trump replied to a tweet about the prediction with the response, “Michael knows!!!”

A few hours after Trump’s tweet, Moore shared another lengthy Facebook post warning voters to take action. “Someone needs to pull the political fire alarm NOW. Where are the stories about Trump gaining on Biden? Here is a Trafalgar poll from Friday in Michigan,” he wrote.

“The previous week Trump had pulled within 4 points of Biden. Now, in this poll, Trump is AHEAD of Biden in Michigan, 47%-45%. Yet so many Dems are convinced Trump will lose. DANGER!”

On Tuesday, Nov. 3, America will have the chance to cast their votes in the 2020 US presidential election.
