Mother Cat Photographed Walking Into Emergency Room Carrying Sick Kitten, Pictures Go Viral

In a heartwarming incident, a mother cat was seen carrying her little kitten to a hospital’s emergency room for treatment. The incident took place in Istanbul, Turkey, and was shared by social media users on April 27 (Monday).

The cat was photographed looking for help after walking into the emergency room carrying the sick kitten in her mouth. The adorable incident was captured by witnesses present at the scene. The pictures also showed the hospital staff members and patients attending to the mother and her baby.

Merve Ozcan, a Twitter user shared pictures of the adorable duo surrounded by medics who approached to help them.

“Today we were in the emergency of the hospital, a cat brought her baby in her mouth to the emergency room,” he captioned the tweet.

The incident went viral on social media and gained over 82,000 likes and was shared over 4,500 times on Twitter since it was posted.

A user who claims to have been present at the scene when the incident unfolded took to social media to describe the incident and wrote: “Mother cat brought a kitten to hospital emergency and we helped it. There was a veterinarian. Kitten is fine and healthy right now”.

According to Bored Panda, the hospital staff had provided the mother cat with some milk and food while they attended to the kitten. They also checked both of them for any obvious health issues after which, the felines were directed to a vet. The mother and kitten duo were said to be in good health.

Local media reports mentioned that the mother cat had followed her kitten around the hospital while the staff members attended to it. She never let the kitten out of her sight.

Naveed Trumboo, Indian Revenue Service official also shared images of the incident on Twitter.

“As strange as it may seem, a cat walked into a hospital in Turkey seeking help for its sick kitten,” he wrote while adding that “Mother's love works in mysterious ways.”
