For some, Mother’s Day means getting dressed up and having a full day of activities with the family, but for others, it means hanging out in your PJ’s with your mom while you watch rom-com movies and relax all day long.

If your crew is more like the second description, there are many movies on Netflix that you can have lined up for mom so she doesn’t have to lift a finger.

Here are five movies that are perfect for the special holiday.

The Life Ahead” (2020)

A Holocaust survivor and a former prostitute, Madame Rosa, runs a daycare business out of her apartment in Italy. After a 12-year-old child, Momo, robs Rosa, she ends up taking care of him for a few months, which leads to them creating an inseparable bond. This film recently won a Golden Globe for best original song for "Io sì (Seen).”

Dumplin'” (2018)

Rosie (Jennifer Aniston) is a former beauty queen that pushes her daughter, Willowdean (Danielle MacDonald) to participate in the Miss Teen Bluebonnet pageant she’s putting on. Through trials and hardships throughout the process, the mother and daughter duo learn to appreciate each other and viewers watch as their relationship flourishes.

Wine Country” (2019)

This film features some of the most hilarious women/men on television, including Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Paula Pell, Emily Spivey, Jason Schwartzman and Tina Fey. The group of friends takes a birthday getaway vacation to Napa Valley where they endure many hardships throughout the weekend and realize how lucky they are to have each other in their lives.

50 First Dates” (2004)

This classic film starring Adam Sandler and Drew Berrymore pulls at the heartstrings when a man tries to win over a woman whose memory resets every day due to a car accident that happened years before. Watch as their love story unfolds.

Otherhood” (2019)

Angela Bassett, Patricia Arquette and Felicity Huffman star in this film as three mothers who meet up for their annual Mother’s Day brunch. After realizing that their sons who live in New York City seem to forget their mothers exist, the three set out on an adventure to the Big Apple to show their sons how important a relationship is.
