A UFO expert claimed that NASA accidentally photographed an object that looks like an ancient jar or bottle on Mars. The expert then accused the agency of altering the photo in an attempt to hide the strange object.

The report regarding the object in NASA’s photo was made by Scott Waring of the UFO-centered blog ET Data Base. According to Waring, he spotted the object while he was looking at a photo uploaded on the website Gigapan, which features high-quality images of Mars.

As indicated in the details of the photo, it was taken by NASA’s Curiosity rover on SOL 2137, which is equivalent to Aug. 10, 2018. The photo features Mars’ vast landscape, with hills covered in sand, soil and rocks.

While viewing the image, Waring spotted an imaged located near the rover’s mast. Zooming in on the photo would reveal an object shaped like a clay jar or bottle. According to Waring, it resembles some of the jars used during the time of ancient Rome.

“Looking through the Gigapan Mars photos, I found something that closely resembles an ancient clay bottle,” he stated in a blog post. “It’s very similar to this 2,000-year-old Roman bottle, which I include into the photo for you to compare.”

According to Waring, the original color of the photo has been altered by NASA. The UFO expert then accused the space agency of trying to cover up the actual environmental conditions on Mars. For Waring, the presence of a jar-like object suggests that the Red Planet is habitable.

“Again, I am showing you a NASA Mars photo which has been altered by NASA into a false color...which makes the surface look red and brown,” he stated. “But in reality, Mars’ surface looks more similar to a desert on Earth. NASA adds false color to hide from the public the fact that Mars is more hospitable than they want you to know.”

As previous scientific reports have revealed, Mars is a very hostile planet with extreme environmental conditions. Also, the object spotted by Waring in NASA’s photo is most likely a stone half-buried in the ground.
