A UFO expert claimed that one of NASA’s photos taken on Mars captured an alien doorway on the ground. According to the expert, the doorway most likely leads to an underground shelter used by aliens.

Photos of the alleged alien structure on Mars were shared by Scott Waring through his blog ET Data Base. According to Waring, he came across the photos as he was browsing the Gigapan, a website that was established through a collaborative effort between NASA, the Carnegie Mellon University and Google.

As indicated in the details of the photo, it was taken by NASA’s Curiosity rover as it was exploring the Martian surface. In the photo, the rover can be seen in a barren terrain with a rocky surface.

On one of the rocks that seems to be about a couple of meters from the rover, a small opening can be seen. According to Waring, the opening is actually a doorway that leads to a structure that has been buried underground.

Waring noted that the structure was intentionally built underground in order to protect its inhabitants from Mars’ weather conditions.

“Here is an entrance to an underground structure,” he wrote on a blog post. “It’s almost hidden to look like the environment. Why underground? To stay warm in the winter and cool in the summers...basically year-round its climate-controlled.”

Aside from the alleged doorway, Waring also claimed to have spotted an arm-like object near the rover. According to the UFO enthusiast, the object may have been a mechanical arm that came off from a machine used by the alien creatures on Mars.

Waring considered his recent discoveries as definitive proof regarding the existence of aliens on the Red Planet. For him, the alleged doorway and mechanical arm show that the aliens that lived on Mars were intelligent.

“I also found an unusual object near the wheels of the rover,” he stated. “The object looks to be a mechanical arm of some machine that is buried under the dirt. This is absolute proof that living creatures on Mars were intelligent and used underground homes to survive.”
