“Nashville” will finally focus on a fan-favorite couple again. Rayna (Connie Britton) and Deacon (Charles Esten) have been on pretty good terms with each other, and their relationship hasn’t been tested at all lately. The two have mostly been in separate storylines throughout Season 4, but that’ll change soon. According to the “Nashville” Season 4, episode 7 synopsis, Rayna is worried about her fiancé’s latest business venture.

In episode 6, Deacon called up his friend Frankie (Mark Collie) and said he wanted to become a part owner of Frankie’s bar and rename the place after his sister. “Rayna’s concerns about Deacon’s business venture with an old friend from AA, Frankie, threaten to drive a wedge between the lovebirds,” the episode 7 synopsis warns. Rayna is likely worried about Deacon, a recovering alcoholic, having to deal with the temptation of alcohol. Hopefully, the two won’t let a business deal ruin their relationship.

Meanwhile, Luke (Will Chase) has some issues with his son Colt (Keean Johnson). In the last episode, the teenager stole a bottle of booze from Luke’s party and the superstar will likely have to discipline his son. However, it sounds like the problem is about more than just grounding his kid for drinking. “Luke’s personal integrity and his relationship with Colt are on the line in the wake of recent events,” the synopsis says.

Those “recent events” would be Jeff’s (Oliver Hudson) death. He fell off the edge of the roof when he was trying to stop Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) from jumping. Colt saw the whole thing when he stepped out onto his balcony, so he’ll know when Juliette lies about the situation. If you thought that the death of her manager would be Juliette’s wake up call, you’d be wrong. In the trailer for episode 7, titled “Can’t Get Used to Losing You,” it looks like the country star will keep building her web of lies.

Luke tells her that someone saw her on the roof with Jeff. “Someone needs to get their eyes checked because I was in my room the entire night,” Juliette says defensively.

Elsewhere in this episode, it looks like Gunnar (Sam Palladio) and Scarlett (Clare Bowen) will have some issues as they prepare for their tour, but she won’t be the only woman causing trouble. The aloof Erin (Scout Taylor-Compton) will be in this episode as well. Will she finally make the terms of her relationship with Gunnar clear?
