The Originals and Reign

It will be a while before we see the Mikaelsons or the Queen of Scots on The CW. Both shows, “Reign” and “The Originals,” will not air any new episodes on Friday, April 21. Instead, a re-run of old episodes from their current seasons will be showcased on the network.

The Season 4 premiere of “The Originals,” titled “Gather Up The Killers,” will air at 8 p.m. while “Reign” Season 4, episode 6, titled “Love & Death,” will air at 9 p.m. tomorrow, April 21. This information was provided by TVGuide’s listings.

Both shows will return with brand-new episodes next Friday, April 28. “The Originals” will premiere Season 4, episode 6, titled “A Bag of Cobras,” at 8 p.m. In this episode, according to the synopsis on TVGuide, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) host an elaborate party to find out who is secretly doing The Hollow’s bidding.

In episode 5, fans learned that Sofya (Taylor Cole), Marcel’s (Charles Michael Davis) new girlfriend, is working with The Hollow. Hopefully, the Mikaelsons will uncover Soya’s true identity soon enough.

Meanwhile, in the next episode of “Reign,” titled “A Better Man,” Mary (Adelaide Kane), who recently married Lord Darnley (Will Kemp), will strategize ways to take the English throne. She was forced to marry the man she doesn’t love because she was pregnant with his child. She is currently smitten by Lord Bothwell (Adam Croasdell).

Furthermore, Queen Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) will be in search of an appropriate suitor for marriage.
