Online Users React To Stacey Dash Sobbing After Learning DMX Died 16 Months Ago

Stacey Dash got emotional when she learned about rapper DMX's death — after more than a year. The actress uploaded a video of herself sobbing to TikTok Wednesday, and netizens couldn't help but share their hilarious reactions to her post.

The 55-year-old actress revealed in the clip that she has been clean for more than six years. She then talked about DMX, noting that his death has broken her heart. "He lost to it. He lost to that demon of addiction," she said. "Please don't lose."

Apparently, she realized that she was late in addressing the tragic news. In the video's caption, she wrote, "I was strolling through #tiktok and found a #DMX song that has saved me many times. Suddenly it says #RIP. I did not know he passed away. He #OD I am heartbroken — he was such a great guy."

The video was eventually reposted on Twitter and quickly caught the attention of users, many of whom found the clip funny.

DMX died on April 9, 2021, at the age of 50. The rapper initially suffered a heart attack at home and he was rushed to hospital. However, it was announced a week later that he passed away.
