One of the most shocking reveals of “The Originals” Season 4 trailer was seeing Klaus Mikaelson’s (Joseph Morgan) deceased lover Cami (Leah Pipes) alive. Of course, it seemed like she was a mere hallucination but fans of the couple will, at this point, be glad to see the two together in any capacity.

Will Klaus try to revive his long lost love in the upcoming season? Unlikely. However, Cami will certainly have a presence in the season premiere, reports TVLine. In fact, in addition to her brief appearance in the video, episode 1 will heavily mention the bartender. She will be even more heavily featured than some other characters who are alive in “The Originals.”

Although fans of Klamille are in for a treat, shippers of Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) are also going to be happy. A dramatic reunion is set to take place between the two lovers. The episode 1 synopsis teased of their reunion and now it has been confirmed that they will soon be together.

Moreover, “The Vampire Diaries” series finale gave a lot of hope to fans of the spin-off that Caroline Forbes (Candice King) and Klaus will be reunited someday in the future. Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) best friend received a generous donation from her former lover with a letter that read: ‘Dearest Caroline, I have often imagined the paths your life might take, but your chosen future is more noble than I ever fathomed. Please accept this contribution to your virtuous cause. I do look forward to thanking you in person someday … however long it takes. Yours, Klaus.’

“TVD” executive producer Julie Plec teased to TVline that “The Originals” has the opportunity to visit some of the parent series’ characters and tell their stories. Meanwhile, Alaric (Matt Davis) will be crossing over to the spinoff in an episode in Season 4. “In fact, Alaric is the one who shows up and actually tells Klaus about the school,” Plec revealed. “The idea of the school as a safe haven for young supernatural beings certainly has a lot of relevance for Hope Mikaelson.”

Due to a scheduling issue, Morgan could not reprise his role as Klaus in the series finale of “Vampire Diaries.”

“The Originals” Season 4 premieres Friday, March 17 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
