Prince Charles will be representing Queen Elizabeth II in a major event tomorrow.

According to Nicholas Bieber, a journalist for Daily Star, the Prince of Wales will be taking over a major role at the funeral of former U.S. President George H.W. Bush, since he is tasked to represent the monarch at the state funeral in Washington. Bieber considers this another sign that Prince Charles is prepping to be king soon.

Her Majesty would usually attend the event, but she handed it down to her son this time around. Clarence House has confirmed this in a statement.

“The Prince of Wales will attend the state funeral of former U.S. President George H.W. Bush. The service will take place tomorrow at The National Cathedral in Washington. The Prince will be representing Her Majesty The Queen,” the palace said on Twitter.

Bieber has been hinting at Prince Charles becoming king soon. In another report earlier, he claimed that the Prince of Wales will be "king very soon" and that a big changeover will happen in 2021 when Queen Elizabeth II turns 95.

“And just this week major preparations were already being ramped up in the run-up to the big takeover on April 21, 2021,” Bieber wrote in the week Prince Charles celebrated his 70th birthday.

While many have been talking about Prince Charles’ next role in the monarchy, Camilla Parker-Bowles’ title has also gained great interest. Many believe that she will be queen when her husband becomes king.

Initially, the palace announced that she will only be princess consort when Prince Charles reigns. However, royal experts believe that things have already changed and that the Duchess of Cornwall will reflect her husband’s new title.

“She will be Queen Consort if he becomes the King, there is no question about that,” royal author Robert Jobson said. “When I wrote the story that they were getting married I said she that would be Duchess of Cornwall but she could be Princess of Wales, but she chose not to. But she will be Queen Consort unless there is a change in the law.”

“I think she is a popular lady. She does her job, she supports him, she is not in competition with the Prince of Wales in any way. She has her own causes,” Jobson added. “I think that people will be accepting of her as the future Queen Consort.”
