Prince Edward deserves to have more engagements because royal fans do not see him enough.

The Earl of Wessex is not as visible as the Queen, Prince of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Just recently, Prince Edward joined the members of the local community and volunteers at Lakeland Community Care Centre. He was captured on camera cutting the cake to celebrate their 25th anniversary.

However, the prince made the cutting of cake memorable as he showed off his hilarious and flamboyant move. Royal fans who saw the clip loved how Prince Edward made the event even more enjoyable that some of them wanted to see him doing more royal engagements.

“He is amazing and he needs more engagement,” one fan commented on the post.

“We don’t see the Earl of Wessex enough. He is hilarious! After the #DukeandDuchessofSussex, he is my third fav,” another follower added.

“The Earl of Wessex cake cutting skills made me smile. I love his sense of humor. EVERYTHING doesn’t have to be serious especially delicious looking cake. Thank you for being human! #TickledPink,” a different netizen opined.

Prince Edward revealed to Sky New’s Rhiannon Mills that he struggled with his royal duties and revealed that he only received one instruction and that’s not to shake anyone’s hands .

“I think the only piece of advice I was given was: ‘Don’t treat it like a receiving line, so don’t start shaking hands, because once you have shaken one person’s hand you are completely stuck, you have to shake everyone’s hand,” Prince Edward said.

Prince Edward stands out when it comes to not following royal tradition of joining the Royal Navy or having military careers. Initially, he joined the Royal Marines but left after three months of training. Prince Edward disappointed Queen Mother and Princess Anne when he quit the Marines.

He also put the royal family in embarrassment when he urged the other members of the royal family to join the Royal Knockout. According to Ingrid Seward, when she mentioned the program to Prince Edward and described it as “disastrous,” the royal sounded irritated as he objected to her, saying that it raised over a million of pounds for a charity and is still raising money.
