Princess Diana, Princess Charlotte’s Striking Resemblance Evident In This Throwback Photo

Princess Diana has an obvious resemblance with her granddaughter Princess Charlotte.

Even though the Princess of Wales never met Princess Charlotte, 3, royal fans couldn’t stop making connections between the two. A photo of Princess Diana with the same facial expression as Princess Charlotte was uploaded on a royal family fan account on Instagram.

In the side by side photo, Princess Diana and Princess Charlotte’s heads are tilted down. Their lips are pressed, and they are staring somewhere at an almost exact same angle.

“Goodness I thought she looked like her father but with the pictures of Princess Diana next to her as a child, it’s amazing how much they resemble. She would be so proud of her boys and grandchildren,” one fan commented.

“Princess Charlotte inherited her grandmother’s expression,” another fan wrote.

Last month, a similar photo of Princess Diana was uploaded alongside Princess Charlotte’s picture from her family’s Christmas card. The snap of the late Princess of Wales was taken in 1970 when she was just 9 years old.

Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte’s facial features do not only resemble Princess Diana. She also looks exactly like her dad, Prince William, when the second in line the throne was much younger. In a throwback photo of the future King, Prince William has the exact same cheeks, lips, and eyes as his only daughter.

Some royal fans are also convinced that Prince George looks more like Prince William than Kate Middleton. In one of Princess Diana’s photos with her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry both have a serious look on their faces as they are kneeling in front of their mother. The royal siblings are also wearing matching clothes in the snap.

Prince George has a similar expression on his face when he posed for a photograph with Prince William, Middleton, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis during the latter’s baptism in July. In the photo, Prince George looks a little bit too serious for the occasion. Princess Charlotte, on the other hand, has a beautiful smile on her face.
