Things are heating up on "The Real Housewives of New York City" as Season 7 draws to a close. Just when you thought you had seen and heard it all, Carole Radziwill appears to be swooping in and upping the ante on episode 11.

Previews for the episode show Carole being joined by co-star Bethenny Frankel for drinks at a swanky restaurant in New York City. As the Skinnygirl CEO settles into her seat, the new friends exchange a little playful banter before Carole drops a serious bombshell on Bethenny. "The Widow's Guide to Sex and Dating: A Novel" author shares that she recently had a sex dream ... and her "RHONY" castmate was the star. While it's likely that viewers jaws will be on the floor while watching the conversation play out, Bethenny took it in stride, simply begging the question, "did we go Downtown Julie Brown?"

Prior to this exchange Carole hadn't really gotten the chance to get close to Bethenny, who returned to the Bravo reality show during Season 7 after a lengthy hiatus. Like many of the other "Housewives," Carole felt Bethenny needed to take her stress level down a notch. Other "Housewives" on the cast, particularly Heather Thomson, have shared similar feelings about Bethenny thoughout the season. In a recent interview with E!, however, Carole said telling Bethenny about the sex dream allowed them to connect.

"I had a dream where I was pleasuring her to get her to relax...I felt like she needed to relax, she needed to chill and be calm. I think that's where the sex part came in. But she was very relaxed in the dream," Carole said. "It was one of those dreams where you wake up and—no joke, it was Bethenny. You know when you have dreams and sometimes it's the image of or the feeling of a person? But it was her. I wasn't going to tell her because I didn't know her that well and then I thought, ‘What the hell?' That sort of broke the ice between us…She's so cute. Later on we're on the trip and stuff and she was much more relaxed."

During filming Bethenny was struggling with a multitude of personal issues. At the time she had just lost her job as a daytime television host. To top things off she was caught in the middle of a nasty divorce from Jason Hoppy, which left her with no place to call home. Throughout the show she bounced from hotel to hotel with her daughter, Bryn, trying to make the best of her bad situation. Although she tried to keep a brave face, Bethenny broke down several times during the season.

"The Real Housewives of New York City" airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo. Check out a clip of the episode below.
