Sony has announced the “Red Dead Redemption 2” PlayStation 4 Pro Bundle, which is set to launch alongside the highly anticipated Western-themed action-adventure game next month.

On Monday, vice president of PlayStation Marketing at Sony Interactive Entertainment America (SIEA) Mary Yee took to the PlayStation Blog to announce the “Red Dead Redemption 2” PS4 Pro Bundle that is debuting the same day as the game on Oct. 26.

The bundle, which costs $399.99, is composed of a 1TB Jet Black PS4 Pro system, a DualShock 4 wireless controller and a Blu-ray disc of “Red Dead Redemption 2.” The same bundle will be available in Canada for $499.99.

Sony has already started accepting pre-orders. For those who are still wondering if getting this version of the console is worth it, one good reason to do so is the quality of the game when the PS4 Pro is used with 4K HDR TV. The advanced technologies of the two translate to enhanced graphics and optimized performance.

Those who want a stellar viewing experience can turn on Supersampling Mode in the PS4 Pro system settings menu, so that their HD TV could benefit from increased image clarity. Television systems with high-dynamic range (HDR) could also work well with the PS4 Pro to deliver picturesque scenery to “Red Dead Redemption 2” players.

Speaking of the game, Rockstar has outlined the different wild animals that can be found in the game’s Old West setting. Some of the species shown in the studio’s latest blog post are alligators, bears, coyotes, deer, eagles, fish, gila monsters, horses, vultures and wolves.

Players can hunt and sell the animals in their spare time between missions. The main challenge with hunting is having a clean kill. Since the weapon that players use will affect the value of the meat or pelt, GameSpot says the bow is the best option for the job.
