The ladies of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" aren't letting a global pandemic get in the way of filming for Season 15.

It's been over a month since production on the hit Bravo reality show ceased due to the coronavirus outbreak, but it seems the orange-bearing ladies have decided that the show must still go on, which was the reasoning behind their controversial May 3 reunion.

"Kelly [Dodd], Shannon [Beador], Emily [Simpson] and Braunwyn [Windham–Burke] got together last weekend on their own and filmed," a source revealed to HollywoodLife.

"Everything was self-filmed and it was actually the ladies’ idea to do it," the unidentified insider continued. "The ladies hadn’t seen each other in person since March, when Bravo stopped filming [due to the coronavirus]."

A source added that the "RHOC" cast didn't "see anything wrong" with getting together nor did they have any concerns about interacting with Kelly, who had not been obeying the stay-at-home order and instead was flying back and forth between New York, where her fiancé Rick Leventhal lives, and Orange County, where her daughter Jolie and mother are.

"The ladies from 'RHOC' were not at all concerned to be with Kelly Dodd last weekend. Kelly came to town for a little over a week from New York to see Jolie and her mom," a source shared.

They added, "The ladies have all been staying home and didn’t see anything wrong with what they did. They’ve all stayed in communication on text daily and really missed Kelly."

"[The cast] loves Kelly dearly. They feel Kelly is entitled to do whatever she wants to do just like they are when it comes to social distancing and her beliefs, but nobody was worried. They’ve really missed being together and filming and can’t wait to get back together when this is over, as they were really just getting going [on Season 15]."

One thing that fans know for sure as a result of Kelly, Shannon, Braunwyn, and Emily reuniting is that these ladies will all be a part of the upcoming season. Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson have publicly acknowledged that they've moved on to new and exciting projects, meanwhile, there is still some uncertainty around Gina Kirchenheiter.

In light of the two open slots within the cast, there has been no official word from the network but that, of course, hasn't stopped fans from speculating about the rumored ladies up for consideration.

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" Season 15 is expected to return in the fall.
