Rihanna Calls Barack Obama Her Worst Breakup On Instagram, ‘Work’ Singer Mourns The End Of Leader’s Presidency

Friday may be a joyous day for some but for singer Rihanna, it marks one of the more difficult times in her life.

The “Work” singer took to Instagram to post a photo of former U.S. President Barack Obama. “Worst breakup ever,” the singer captioned the photo. Rihanna is most likely referring to Barack Obama’s last day as POTUS, and it’s clear that she is emotional about the end of his presidency.

Despite her woes over Obama’s White House exit, the singer has dealt with her fair share of heartbreak before. Rihanna dated Drake on and off for several years, most recently calling off their romance in October after he admitted to being in love with her just a few months earlier at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Although the singer is assumed to be single, her ex-boyfriend has been romantically linked to Jennifer Lopez. Although it is looking like the two are getting more serious, Rihanna seemed unhappy when rumors first began to swirl that her former beau moved on.

The songstress unfollowed Lopez on Instagram after news of the new romance emerged. Rihanna previously gifted the singer with a pair of boots. The singer wore the shoes in her music video, “Ain’t Your Mama,” however, it is clear things are not as friendly between the two nowadays.
