Hollywood heartthrob and "La La Land" star Ryan Gosling, who has managed to impress moviegoers with his distinct on-screen roles, turns 40 on Nov. 12.

The multiple Oscar nominee began his acting career at the age of 13 by appearing on Disney Channel's "The Mickey Mouse Club." He then went on to act in several TV series including "Breaker High" and "Young Hercules" before making his big screen debut with a supporting role in the sports drama "Remember the Titans."

There has been no looking back for the talented actor since. He went on to showcase his acting prowess in movies such as "Blade Runner 2049" and "The Notebook."
